Cutrone named AD3I baseball Player of the Week

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – St. Joseph's College (N.Y.) sophomore second baseman/pitcher Chris Cutrone (Levittown, N.Y.) is this week's Association of Division III Independents baseball Player of the Week for the second consecutive week. Cutrone threw a complete game (9 innings) and gave up zero earned runs in a narrow, 2-1, loss to Baruch. He struck out a career-high tying eight batters and held the Bearcats to five hits in his first career nine-inning outing. Cutrone lowered his ERA to 2.48 on the season and has pitched 29.0 innings so far this season.
