OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) junior forward David Louison (Brooklyn, N.Y.) has been awarded the Association of Division III Independents men's basketball Player of the Week. Louison was the catalyst of a St. Joseph's team that defeated HVIAC rivals Berkeley College, 75-57, on Friday at the Barclays Center, in their lone game of the week. The junior led the Bears to an impressive win dominating the action with a season-high 29 points on 14-of-22 shooting (63.6 percent) while securing five rebounds. The forward eclipsed 900 points for his career in the win for the Bears as they moved over .500 for the first time this season at 6-5. Louison is now a two-time Player of the Week and now leads St. Joseph's averaging 15.6 points per game.
