OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Illinois Institute of Technology freshman guard Anthony Mosley Jr. (Chicago, Ill.) has been awarded the Association of Division III Independents men's basketball Player of the Week. The freshman led the Scarlet Hawks with 25 points in their 83-78 victory over Rose-Hulman on Thursday. The guard went 9-of-20 (45 percent) from the field and 7-of-8 from the charity stripe as Illinois Tech earned their second win of the month. Mosley also added three rebounds, three assists and three blocks in 35 minutes. The freshman earns Player of the Week honors for the first time this season and currently ranks fourth in the Association with 18.2 points per game.
