OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Nebraska Wesleyan University senior guard Trey Bardsley (Beatrice, Neb.) has been awarded the Association of Division III Independents men's basketball Player of the Week. Bardsley averaged 26.0 points, 5.0 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game in a pair of GPAC victories on the week. The senior poured in 29 points with six threes in a victory over Concordia, going 10-of-17 from the floor. The guard concluded the week with 23 points and seven rebounds in the Prairie Wolves' upset of No. 13 Dakota Wesleyan on the road in the Corn Palace. Bardsley played all 40 minutes in both games and finished with ten trifectas on the week. The senior moved into fifth place on the Nebraska Wesleyan all-time career scoring charts and now sits second in both season and career three-pointers.
