OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The College of New Rochelle freshman guard Dar'Neisha Brice (Lexington Park, Md.) has been selected as the Association of Division III Independents women's basketball Student-Athlete of the Month for December. Brice averaged 20.8 points, 3.7 assists and 4.0 steals per game as the Blue Angels went 4-2 during the month. The freshman recorded double figures in points in five of the six games, including a month-high 35 points against CCNY on December 4th. The guard followed that game up with a 32-point outing in a 66-52 victory over Purchase on December 8th, adding eight rebounds, six assists and nine steals in the contest. Brice shot 44.4 percent from the floor and 81.5 percent at the foul line during the month and currently leads the Association in points per game.
