OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Mount Mary University freshman midfielder Kaeli Stellings (Beloit, Wis.) has been named the Association of Division III Independents women's soccer Student-Athlete of the Month for September. The freshman helped lead the Blue Angels to four wins during the month with seven goals and three assists for a total of 17 points. The midfielder recorded a goal in all but three games and scored game-winning goals against Eureka, Iowa Wesleyan and Lakeland. Stellings began her career with a goal and an assist against Alverno on September 2nd and would later add a month high two goals in Mount Mary's 5-1 win over Eureka on September 7th. The freshman was a one-time Player of the Week during the month and currently ranks third in the Association with ten goals on the year.
