Chiaramonte selected as AD3I softball Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – St. Joseph's College (N.Y.) sophomore pitcher/outfielder Alyson Chiaramonte (Staten Island, N.Y.) has been named the Association of Division III Independents softball Player of the Week for the second consecutive week. Chiaramonte led her squad to a 3-1 record on the week and nabbed another pair of wins in the circle. She accumulated a 0.58 ERA as she struck out 20 and walked none. In a win over Old Westbury, she fired a two-hitter and struck out a season-high 12 batters. Chiaramonte continued to stay hot at the plate as she batted .615 (8-for-13) and extended her hitting streak to 21 games.
