Bomberger selected as AD3I softball Player of the Week

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Nebraska Wesleyan University junior outfielder Becky Bomberger (Crete, Neb.) has been named the Association of Division III Independents softball Player of the Week. Bomberger had eight hits, six for extra bases, as she hit .471 leading the Prairie Wolves to a 4-2 record against GPAC competition for the week. She had a double in five of six games played, finishing with five doubles, one home run and four RBI on the week. Her slugging percentage was .941 and her on-base percentage was .609 as she walked four times and was hit by a pitch twice, reaching base on 14 of 23 plate appearances.
